Information on voting so far from L2 Data was analyzed on ABC News, showing the breakdown of voters in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin – five of which are key swing states.

The GOP has made significant gains on the Democrats, amassing 38% of the early vote compared to 32% four years prior. On the contrary, the Democrats have dropped four points to 50%, while third parties are amassing 12% of the vote (down two points from 2020).

A ten-point swing against the governing party would be disastrous for Vice President Kamala Harris, who is seeking to defend the White House on its razor thin majority. Trump lost by just over 40,000 votes in Georgia, Arizona and Wisconsin 2020, meaning just a 1% swing across all states would be enough to win the election.
