Bondi, a staunch ally of Trump, has long been a vocal critic of what she describes as the “deep state” within the Justice Department, and her appointment suggests a renewed focus on accountability and reform.

In 2023, Bondi made her stance clear during an appearance on Fox News following Trump’s fourth indictment. “When Republicans take back the White House, you know what’s going to happen? The Department of Justice, the prosecutors will be prosecuted, the bad ones,” Bondi said.

“The investigators will be investigated because the deep state, last term for President Trump, they were hiding in the shadows, but now they have a spotlight on them, and they can all be investigated.”

Bondi’s comments reflect her longstanding position that the Department of Justice has been weaponized for political purposes.

Miller praised her tough approach to law enforcement, particularly in dealing with criminal organizations and cartels.

“She is tough as nails,” Miller said. “You want an AG who’s going to take down the cartels, take down the migrant gangs, who’s going to use the 70,000 law enforcement officers at DOJ to get rid of the foreign criminal enterprise in this country? That’s Pam Bondi. This is the AG that is going to help President Trump deliver on his promise to liberate America.”
