The tweet pointed out that, despite Trump’s sweeping electoral victories, several Republican Senators made key leadership decisions that many Trump supporters view as acts of betrayal.

The tweet highlighted several key points: Senate Republicans elected Sen. John Thune as Majority Leader, despite his known opposition to Trump; they put Mitch McConnell in charge of important committees like the Rules and Defense Spending Committees; and they made Sen.Susan Collins head of the Appropriations Committee, despite her consistent record of voting against Trump. “That is called saying F you to their voters.”

The message was clear: these leadership choices by Senate Republicans are seen as efforts to obstruct Trump’s second term agenda, particularly in the areas of defense spending, rules, and appropriations.
