Ana Kasparian, co-host of the notoriously left-leaning Young Turks, recently shared an unexpected personal story that’s causing a stir.

In a rare moment of introspection, Kasparian described how a simple act of kindness from a Trump supporter challenged her preconceived notions about MAGA voters, as reported by Daily Fetched.

Kasparian recounted the incident during a recent episode, explaining how a neighbor named Jeff altered her perspective.

“I was struggling to get a bicycle up the stairs,” Kasparian began. “This man stops me, his name is Jeff, and says, ‘Let me help you out with that.’” That small gesture marked the beginning of a surprising friendship.

“Jeff and I became very close. He was my favorite person in the entire building,” she continued. Their bond grew over time, but the political twist came during a neighborhood HOA meeting. Kasparian shared, “One of the people living in the building said something negative about Trump. Jeff leaned over and whispered to me, ‘If she’s going to start trashing Trump, I’m out of here.’”

Initially taken aback, Kasparian admitted that she had developed a friendship with Jeff before learning about his political leanings. “I got to know Jeff as an incredibly kind guy who helps everyone in this building with anything they might need,” she said.

“That woke me up to wait a minute, not all Trump supporters are dangerous, evil individuals. I’m embarrassed admitting that.”
