Despite attempts to initiate a traffic stop, the individual, clad in a Santa suit, refused to pull over.
Dashcam footage shows the motorcyclist veering through multiple lanes and attempting to shake off the trooper in pursuit.
During the chase, the motorcyclist cut through a gas station and re-entered the main road, a maneuver that slowed the pursuing officer’s vehicle.
The chase ended with the motorcyclist disappearing from sight, leaving authorities searching for the elusive Santa impersonator.

The motorcycle-riding Santa is not the only holiday figure making headlines for questionable behavior this season.
Elsewhere, incidents involving holiday characters have caused disruptions, highlighting a pattern of unusual holiday-related crimes.
South of the border in Mexico, a dispute between two street performers—one dressed as Santa Claus and the other as the Grinch—turned violent.
The altercation reportedly started over a tip dispute, leaving the Santa performer injured. Both men were subsequently arrested.
