Kid Rock Drops the Mic on Democrats: ‘America’s Back, Baby’ [WATCH]

On Tuesday, just before President Donald Trump delivered his address to a joint session of Congress, musician and entertainer Kid Rock shared [1] his thoughts on how Democrats should handle the night.

During an appearance on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime, the host asked Kid Rock about reports that Democrats were planning stunts during Trump’s speech.

“So, they’ve really got the Democrats struggling, and we’re hearing there’s going to be some stunts tonight,” Watters said.

“You know a thing or two about stunts, grabbing attention, maybe causing a ruckus. Anything you’re thinking of that they could possibly do? Any advice for them?”

Kid Rock responded with a blunt suggestion.

“Maybe just shut up, sit there, and learn something,” he said.

“I mean, how’d that work? When Nancy, you know, did her little—tore up her little thing. What? Ilhan Omar is going to walk out? I mean, come on, just, you know, collect your things from your office, put a basket on your head and walk back to where you came from. That’s what I would say.”

Watters then brought up Kid Rock’s past experience at presidential events, mentioning that he had played at President Barack Obama’s inauguration.

“So you’re someone who respects the office. Isn’t this just about respecting the office these nights?” Watters asked.

“It should be,” Kid Rock replied. “It should absolutely be. I mean, you know, they’re obviously still butt sore, because their message was so horrible, just so terrible for the last four years with everything that’s going on with this, I mean, woke mind virus start there and just moved down the list.”

He continued by expressing his excitement about the officials working with Trump’s administration.

“And finally, you know, it’s the old talking point, but it’s commonsense. Just to hear commonsense coming from a group of people that are in there. I’ve never been more excited about the group of people that are surrounding the President that he’s put into office,” Kid Rock said.

Kid Rock also reflected on a recent experience at a major American event, saying it reaffirmed his belief that the country is on the right track.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to know a lot of them personally. And just to—I mean, just being at the Daytona 500, it was like, just sitting there with some mutual friends, was like, it feels like America. We’re celebrating America, all of the things that are great about our country,” he said.

“And it really does. America’s back, baby.”

As Trump’s address took place, Democrats had already signaled plans to stage walkouts and other disruptions.

Kid Rock’s remarks echoed frustrations among conservatives about previous actions taken by Democrats, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s decision to tear up Trump’s speech during a past address.

With Trump’s administration pressing forward on key policies, supporters like Kid Rock see a shift back to what they view as fundamental American values.

His comments reinforced the idea that, despite ongoing political divisions, many Americans are eager to embrace a renewed sense of patriotism and leadership under Trump’s presidency.
