A shocking video has surfaced [1] showing a street preacher in San Francisco having a firearm pointed at him from mere inches away after he delivered a sermon on gender.
The incident took place on Wednesday in Union Square, where Pastor Kevin Kihara of Christian Forgiveness Ministries was publicly preaching when he was confronted by an armed individual.
Kihara later shared footage of the encounter on his church’s Facebook page, titling the post: “Transgender pulls gun on street preacher in San Francisco.”
The video captures the tense moment when the pastor, using a microphone to address a busy street, spoke about gender identity from a biblical perspective.
“Be somebody God made you to be,” Kihara said, directing his words toward someone off-camera.
“He didn’t make a man to be a woman, he made the man to be a man. He didn’t make the woman to be a man, he made the woman to be a woman, and this is the truth.”
As Kihara continued speaking, voices could be heard shouting back at him.
He briefly paused and then appeared to address someone directly, saying, “What, are you going to come attack me now?”
Moments later, an individual wearing a blonde wig, overall dress, and heeled boots entered the frame, pulled a firearm from their bag, and aimed it at Kihara’s face from just inches away.
“I should,” the person said while holding the gun before stepping back.
Despite the threat, Kihara remained composed and responded, “Hey, man, it’s up to you if you want to pull that on me. God bless you.”
As the individual walked away, Kihara continued speaking. “I still love you, though. Even you pulled a gun on me, I still love you, I still bless you.”

The confrontation ended with the armed person yelling an expletive back at Kihara before disappearing from view.
It is unclear whether the incident was reported to the police, and law enforcement has not responded to requests for comment as of Friday.
The video has since gained traction online, drawing reactions from viewers alarmed by the brazen nature of the threat in broad daylight.
Union Square, a well-known tourist and shopping district, has seen an increase in incidents involving public disturbances in recent years.
The footage has reignited discussions about safety, free speech, and the challenges faced by street preachers in liberal cities.
Christian Forgiveness Ministries has not issued any further statements on the incident, and the identity of the armed individual remains unknown.
