White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller criticized Democrats during an appearance on Fox News Thursday night, accusing them of siding with violent criminal aliens over American citizens, after Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) traveled to El Salvador in protest of the deportation of a suspected MS-13 member.
The case centers around Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, an illegal alien deported from the United States in March by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after being linked to the violent transnational gang MS-13.
Following his deportation, Abrego Garcia was transferred to El Salvador’s mega-prison, which houses high-profile gang members.

When Van Hollen attempted to visit the facility on Wednesday, he was denied entry.
During an interview on “Hannity,” Miller sharply rebuked the senator’s actions and the broader Democrat response to the deportation.
“I think it’s just emblematic of the fact that the Democrat Party has been thoroughly, completely radicalized. They are an open borders party. They’re a communist party. They’re a party that excuses violence and left-wing terrorism,” Miller said.
“They are a party that’s polling at 21%. But if they keep fighting to spring illegal alien gang members loose from foreign countries and bring them back to terrorize our families, that 21% will go down to 15% and 10% and lower and lower.”

Miller highlighted the contrast between the Trump administration’s immigration priorities and those of the Democratic Party.
“We’ve reached a point in American politics where we have one party led by President Donald Trump that fights for Americans, and a second party, I guess led by AOC, that fights for illegal aliens — but not just illegal aliens. Criminal, wife-beating terrorist illegal aliens,” he said.
According to court records, Abrego Garcia was previously arrested in Maryland in 2019. Local law enforcement and immigration judges determined he was affiliated with MS-13, a group that has been designated as a foreign terrorist organization.
ICE agents acted quickly after his most recent arrest in March to remove him from the country.
Miller referenced a protective order filed by Abrego Garcia’s wife, which detailed multiple alleged instances of violent abuse.
“There were two instances of extreme violent physical abuse,” Miller noted, citing the contents of the order.
“And then on top of all of that, he’s an illegal alien and a member of what has been designated as a foreign terrorist organization.”
The Justice Department has defended the deportation, stating that federal courts have no jurisdiction over foreign policy decisions.
In legal filings, DOJ argued that the U.S. government has no obligation to return Abrego Garcia to the United States, nor can the courts intervene in his detention abroad.
Miller criticized Democrats for allocating political capital to defending an individual with a history of gang affiliations and domestic abuse allegations.
“You have the entire machinery of the Democrat Party using all of its power not to fight for lower costs, as President Trump is, or better trade deals, as President Trump is, or lower taxes, as President Trump is,” he said.
“But to fight to bring this illegal alien… back to the United States, where he can do what? He can commit additional acts that threaten the safety of the American people.”
Miller also weighed in on the potential future leadership of the Democratic Party, predicting Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) as the party’s likely nominee in the 2028 presidential election.
“I think she’s clearly the frontrunner,” he said.
The Trump administration has remained firm in its position that individuals like Abrego Garcia, with ties to designated terror organizations and a history of violence, should not remain in the U.S.

President Trump has repeatedly emphasized a zero-tolerance policy on gang crime and illegal immigration as central to his administration’s public safety agenda.

The more I listen to Stephen Miller the better I like him and want to hear more. I’ll cheerlead for Miller, Tom Homan & Tom Fitton all day! These men have demonstrated many times over they work on behalf of the American people, something we desperately need instead of the sell-outs to foreign interests that most of “our” “elected” and business “leaders” are. (Quotes intentional, they’re not OURS and they’re most likely not honestly elected.)
